Most markets on the Peninsula are rising slowly for single family detached homes according to my data for year to date 2017. I will have a first quarter for you at the end of March so we can see how this year is going, so far I am showing fewer homes available for sale on the market and higher sold prices by the square foot. It is still too soon to say this is a trend, but I am excited to see what happens this year! With higher demand and less homes, now is a great time to sell if you have been watching the market. Condo prices are leveling out, market times are slightly higher, and we are seeing rent reductions in some markets – however single family detached homes are still steadily rising for the most part.
